I have lived in Burlington, Ontario my entire life. I attended college at Humber College in Toronto, Ontario.

I have been a restaurateur since 1997, when I opened my first business in Port Dover, Ontario

Making delicious food and presenting it creatively has been my life long passion. I have truly deep roots in European cooking traditions and I enjoy experimenting with global cuisines.

At the Downtown Bistro, we use local, seasonal food, giving our customers the “farm to the table” experience. We have also recently expanded our wine list, to include more award winning, local Ontario wines; as well as a fine selection of imported wines.

The Downtown Bistro has been the culmination of my life’s work. My team and myself have put a great deal of time, dedication, and love into making our restaurant what it is today. I have been very fortunate to have a great team working along side me. I am also very fortunate to work with my son, Brian . He acts as one of our Hosts and shares my passion for fine food, presentation, and customer service.

I love to share my work with my customers and I look forward to sharing it with you!
